Published in 1984 this photo book covers railway operations across the North West, in a era when class 47s, 24s, 76s, 40s, 81-86s, 56s, 45s, 20s, 37s, 25s were common, and class 50s occasional visitors. There are also pictures of first generation EMUs, DMUs and a class 28, a class 33 and a 26 all working passenger or freight services.
Illustrated with a mix of monochrome and colour photographs.
These books are new but old stock and may have minor imperfections due to their long period in storage.
