The sunshine may have been unpredictable at the The “Greatest Gathering” launch on Thursday 30th January, but our locomotive certainly shined brightly.
Positioned next to the mighty A4, “Sir Nigel Gresley” 50049 “Defiance “certainly was a popular exhibit for the large audience invited to this special launch event at Alstom works at Derby.
The “Greatest Gathering “will be held over the weekend of 1st - 3rd August at Alstom Litchurch Lane works in Derby as part of Rail 200.
